Established in 2017 by Bishop Gideon Kabenge, Ararat Charity Foundation‘s main mission to restore hope and transform lives by sharing the Gospel, equipping youth with vocational skills, and providing quality, affordable education to empower less privileged children and communities in Wakiso District and Uganda at large.
The charity primarily operates through its major implementing partners, that is, Ararat Christian Junior School (ACJS) and Streams of Healing Ministries, the charity focuses on providing spiritual growth, education, and holistic care to vulnerable children.

- Ararat Christian Junior School (ACJS): The school accommodates over 130 students from Kindergarten to Grade 7. It operates as both a day and boarding facility.
- Support for Vulnerable Children: The ministry directly supports dozens of orphans and children from impoverished families, offering them free housing, meals, and medical care.
- Spiritual Affiliation: The organization works in tandem with local Christian ministries, including Streams of Healing Church Uganda, to host community outreach projects, youth mentorship, and regular worship services.
- International Partnerships: To fund community infrastructure—such as clean water projects, solar power installations, and orphanage dormitories—the ministry partners with global entities, including fundraising concerts held at schools like King’s College.
